Since joining Chelsea Groton Bank in 2018, Daniela Ness (NMLS#: 531581) continues to grow her career while building strong relationships with customers and coworkers alike. Now serving as a Mortgage Specialist, Daniela is proud to be a trusted resource for those navigating the homeownership process.
1. What is your current role and department? I’m a Mortgage Specialist in the Residential Lending department. This is my fifth role at Chelsea Groton since joining in April 2018!
2. What do you love most about working at Chelsea Groton Bank? What I love most about working at Chelsea Groton Bank is the people and the opportunity to make a difference! Whether I’m helping a customer achieve homeownership or supporting my coworkers by answering lending questions, I enjoy being someone others can rely on. It’s rewarding to work for a community bank that truly values relationships and is committed to helping people achieve their financial goals.
3. What are you most proud of in your work at Chelsea Groton? I’m most proud of the growth I’ve experienced throughout my career at Chelsea Groton Bank. I’ve had the opportunity to take on a variety of roles, earn promotions and awards, expand my knowledge of lending, and build strong relationships with both customers and coworkers. It’s rewarding to know that people trust me as a resource and that I’ve been able to help others succeed while continuing to grow professionally.
4. Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, Maltese pup, and my close friends. I’m passionate about health and wellness and have been focused on living a healthier lifestyle through nutrition and fitness. I also co-own a local consignment shop with my sister, which has been a fun and rewarding creative outlet. When I’m not working, you can usually find me relaxing on our boat or planning our next vacation!
5. What are some things you like to do to support the community? I enjoy giving back to those in need by supporting local charities through donations and volunteering whenever I can. I also enjoy dining out to support local businesses. Chelsea Groton gives us the opportunity to give a donation every year to a local organization of our choice, which I love so much. It’s very rewarding to know that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in our community! I am very proud and grateful to be a part of it all.
