Having spent the past eight years at Chelsea Groton Bank in five different roles, I bring a unique, well-rounded perspective throughout every stage of the lending journey. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in retail lending, loan operations, customer service, and mortgage support, giving me a deep understanding of the process from application to closing with every loan type we offer. My background allows me to anticipate client needs, simplify complex steps, and provide a smooth and personalized experience every step of the way. Known for being responsive, approachable, and relationship focused, I am passionate about helping first-time homebuyers, current homeowners, and referral partners feel informed and supported.

A Little About Daniela Ness

Daniela Ness began her banking career in 2004, including experience as a Loan Officer during the 2011 economic downturn, where she supported homeowners through complex lending situations. She joined Chelsea Groton Bank in 2018 as a Customer Solutions Representative in the Pawcatuck branch. After starting in the Pawcatuck branch, Daniela advanced to Assistant Manager roles in both the Pawcatuck and Groton branches before transitioning to the Retail Lending Department in 2020 as a Retail Lending Processor. In 2021, Daniela was named a Retail Lending Sales Specialist, building valuable experience that led to her role as Mortgage Specialist. In 2023, she was awarded the Assistant Secretary title in recognition of her leadership and expertise, and was also honored with the George W. Strouse “Spirit” Award, presented annually to an employee who exemplifies and upholds the Bank’s core values.

Daniela resides in Pawcatuck and is actively involved in her community. She is a member of the Groton Scholarship Committee, Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce and completed the Eastern CT Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program in 2024. She also co-owns Deja Vu Consignment Room in Westerly, RI with her sister.
