Chelsea Groton Bank is facilitating a free First Generation Home Buyer class on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at Goodwin University in East Hartford. This program is specifically designed to empower and educate first generation home buyers on all aspects of purchasing and owning their first home. Chelsea Groton’s expert instructors will cover a wide range of topics including understanding your relationship with money, making informed decisions about whether home ownership is right for you, the basics of obtaining a mortgage and available down-payment and mortgage assistance programs, and additional support available to help you become the first in your family to own a home. There will be plenty of time before the program ends to have all questions answered.
