This month, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Vincenzo Denniston, Customer Solutions Assistant Manager of the Downtown Norwich Branch, who played an integral part in the recent branch move.
What do you love about Chelsea Groton Bank?
I love the meaningful connections I’ve built during my time here with both customers and teammates. Chelsea Groton has given me countless opportunities to grow, both as an employee and now as an assistant manager, through a variety of training programs and development opportunities across different areas of the bank.
The support I’ve received from management and other departments has been incredible and it’s one of the things I value most about being part of this team.
What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
My biggest achievement so far has been the opportunity to lead a branch team over the past 6 months. During this time, we have reached our branch production goals and operational goals and have continued to focus on building strong relationships with our customers, which is highly rewarding.
What projects are you currently working on?
We just moved our Downtown Norwich branch up the road, so we are getting settled in our new space. It’s been a unique experience, to ensure everything was set up properly and fully compliant for opening day. We continue to be focused on keeping our existing customers happy with the transition while we’re also working to build new relationships and grow our business.

What is something about yourself most people wouldn’t know?
I am a big fan of trivia and enjoy anything to do with maps and geography.
How do you keep a healthy work/life balance?
I try to keep a healthy work life balance through daily exercise after work whether that is in the gym or outdoors.
Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work:
Outside of work I love to play golf and go to the beach, especially in the summer months. I am a big sports fan (Yankees, Green Bay Packers) and love attending trivia nights at local restaurants.
