Honoring Service and Supporting Success

May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to recognize and honor the dedication, sacrifice, and resilience of our nation’s service members, veterans, and their families. At Chelsea Groton, we are proud to stand with the military community—not just in gratitude, but in action.

This month, we’re spotlighting valuable tools and resources available through our Online Learning Hub to help military personnel and their families thrive financially, academically, and personally.

Our Learning Hub offers a range of articles tailored to the unique financial and personal challenges faced by military members and veterans. Here are a few topics to check out:

Military students often juggle service commitments with academic goals. This guide offers practical advice on budgeting, managing tuition assistance, and maximizing military education benefits.

Since 2002, the U.S. Department of Defense has allowed military branches to cover up to 100% of tuition costs for active duty and reserve service members through Tuition Assistance (TA) programs. This article details the different military tuition assistance programs and what they cover, as well as other ways to receive tuition assistance as a service member.

Transitioning to civilian life can be challenging. This resource guide connects veterans with support for housing, employment, mental health, and more.

At Chelsea Groton, we believe that supporting the military community is a year-round commitment. Through education, financial empowerment, and community engagement, we’re proud to stand beside those who serve. In addition to the Online Learning Hub, be sure to check out our schedule of live programming, offered in-person and virtually, on a range of topics throughout the year. And if homeownership is in your future, Chelsea Groton is proud to offer many homebuyer products, including Veterans Administration Home Loans (VA). Through VA home loans, service members, veterans, and surviving spouses may be eligible for home loans and other housing-related programs to help buy, build, repair, retain, or adapt a home for personal occupancy.
