Spotlight on Peter DiScuillo

Peter DiScuillo

At Chelsea Groton Bank, our team is made up of passionate individuals who bring dedication, creativity, and heart to everything they do. This month, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Peter DiScuillo, our Senior Facilities Specialist, who has been an integral part of the Chelsea Groton family for the past eight years. From transforming our branches into welcoming spaces to giving back to the community, Peter exemplifies the spirit and values that make Chelsea Groton so special.

1. What is your current role and department?

I’m a Senior Facilities Specialist in the Facilities Department, and I’ve been with Chelsea Groton for eight years.

2. What do you love most about working at Chelsea Groton Bank?

What I love most is the freedom to work and hone my craft. The culture here allows me to be authentic and true to myself, which makes a huge difference in how I approach my work every day.

3. What are you most proud of in your work at Chelsea?

I take great pride in transforming spaces that need care and attention. Being part of every branch and headquarters reinvention has been incredibly rewarding. Seeing the final results of our hard work come to life is something I’m truly proud of.

4. Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work.

Outside of work, I’m very active outdoors. I enjoy snowboarding and camping with my family at Green Falls in the Pachaug State Forest in Voluntown. I spend most of my time with my wife and two boys, always finding new adventures together.

5. What are some things you like to do to support the community?

I’m passionate about giving back through the Bank’s volunteer initiatives. I’ve helped at St. Vincent de Paul, participated in clean-up efforts at the Riverfront Children’s Center, and helped distribute food at mobile food pantries. It’s fulfilling to contribute to the community in meaningful ways.
