Now Just a Text Away!

Not only can you call, email, chat online, or video call with the Chelsea Groton Customer Care team, but now you can text with the team too!

Whether you’re on the go or don’t have time for a phone call, but a banking question comes up, the Customer Care team will be ready to assist.  Simply text “Hello” to 860-448-4200 to opt in and begin a text conversation, Monday – Friday  8am – 7pm and Saturday 8am – 3pm.*  If you text the team after-hours, you can expect to hear a response during regular business hours. Along with texting, Chelsea Groton has upgraded additional ways to get in touch:

  • Improved Call Routing: You’ll be connected to the right team member who will be able to quickly respond to your needs. If someone isn’t available immediately, or you aren’t able to make a call when a question arises, you’ll now have a few options:
    • Call Back Queue: If there is a wait when you call, you’ll be able to save your spot in line and get an auto call back from the first available team member.
    • Voicemail: Callers can opt to leave a voicemail and will receive a response as soon as the team is available with an answer.
  • Chelsea Live Video and Web-based Chat: Instead of using a separate app for video calls, you’ll enjoy seamless communication with call, chat, and video options all in one system through a link on our website. There will be no need to download anything new! Customers can use the chat’s video option for wire transfers, to open accounts, sign documents, and more. 
  • Screen Share: You’ll have the option to securely share your screen when on a call with us for guided assistance on desktop computers.
