I oversee the talent management program, which includes recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members, as well as payroll administration, workplace policies and processes, and HR compliance and reporting. I facilitate employees meeting their upmost potential through engagement and learning. It is my goal to have every team member flourish in their positions so they can deliver their best to you.
Tam joined Chelsea Groton Bank in 2012 with over 25 years of experience in Human Resources. In 2017, she received the George W. Strouse Spirit Award. Tam earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Post University, a Master of Science degree in Human Resources from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and recently earned a coaching certification from Lee Hecht Harrison. In 2022, Tam was promoted to First Vice President Human Resources Manager.
Tam serves on the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut’s Education and Human Resources Councils, the Jonnycake Center of Westerly’s scholarship committee, and hold board positions with both local and state Human Resources councils.
