Meet Yahbriel Roman, a Friendly Face at Our Niantic Branch

We’re excited to spotlight one of our dedicated team members from the Niantic Branch, whose passion for learning, community connection, and customer service shines through in everything he does. From supporting customers in multiple languages to actively giving back, Yahbriel embraces the values that make Chelsea Groton Bank such a special place to work. 

  1. What is your current role and department? 

I am the Customer Solutions Assistant Manager of our Niantic Branch. 

  1. What do you love most about working at Chelsea Groton Bank? 

What I enjoy most about working at Chelsea Groton Bank is the supportive environment and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals. Chelsea Groton is my first employer after graduating from college. Prior to being in my current position, I completed the Bank’s 12-month Retail Branch Management Training Program. I truly appreciate being in a place where I can continuously grow and develop both personally and professionally. 

  1. What are you most proud of in your work at Chelsea? 

What I’m most proud of is the impact I can make on our community. As a Spanish speaker, I’m able to assist our customers in two different languages, helping them meet their needs and achieve their financial goals. 

  1. Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work. 

Outside of work I’m an avid New York Knicks and Giants fan! I also enjoy playing basketball and going on hikes with my fiancé. 

  1. What are some things you like to do to support the community? 

I support the community by volunteering through Chelsea Groton and my local church. An activity I enjoy participating in through my church in New London is a day they host annually called “Good Neighbors,” where we help clean up the city and provide meals to those in need.
