Stonington – November 22
Celebrate a coastal tradition at the 5th Annual Lobster Trap Tree Lighting at 4:30 PM. This whimsical display will shine through January 4, offering a perfect backdrop for holiday photos. Chelsea Groton even has a buoy you can stop by and see!
Mystic – November 29
Kick off the holidays in Mystic with a day full of cheer. Start at the Artisan Market on Cottrell Street from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, where local makers showcase handcrafted gifts. At 2:00 PM, watch Santa arrive in style aboard the John Paul tugboat during the Santa Tugboat event at Mystic River Park. As evening falls, gather for the Christmas Tree Lighting at 6 PM, followed by the dazzling 22nd Annual Lighted Boat Parade at 6:15 PM, a spectacular procession of decorated vessels along the Mystic River.
Norwich – November 29 & December 6
Enjoy a festive day downtown with the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Bazaar on Nov. 29 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Then be sure to head to the Winterfest Light Parade on Dec. 6, activities start at 4:00 PM and the parade kicks off at 6:00 PM. Expect glowing floats, holiday music, and plenty of seasonal treats to keep spirits bright. Chelsea will be there to join the celebration, so be sure to say hello!
New London – December 6
Support a great cause at A Magical Evening of Giving, a holiday tree auction benefiting Safe Futures. Viewing begins at 6:00 PM, with bidding starting at 7:00 PM. Stop by for an opportunity to take home a beautifully decorated tree while giving back to the community. Chelsea Groton will have a festive tree in the auction—don’t miss your chance to bid!
Niantic – December 13
Enjoy a night of lights and merriment at the 37th Annual Niantic Light Parade at 6:00 PM. This beloved event transforms downtown into a glowing wonderland, and Chelsea Groton will be there spreading holiday cheer.
