What is your current role and department?
I’m a Senior Deposit Operations Representative for the Operations Department.
What do you love most about working at Chelsea Groton Bank?
I love the people I work with all the way up to the management team. I feel like a valued team member and not just an employee.
What are you most proud of in your work at Chelsea?
I come across a lot of fraud attempts in my position, check fraud and ACH fraud. I love it when I can prevent fraud from occurring. By processing check reviews, I can usually catch a fraud check before it hits a customer’s account. This is a process that saves the customer the frustration and time of trying to get their hard-earned money back.
Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work.
I am a mom first and foremost. My daughter is my greatest joy. I love to camp and do karaoke, but I am the happiest when I am spending quality time with my husband and daughter.
What are some things you like to do to support the community?
I was a parent volunteer for my daughter’s Girl Scout Troop and PTO Treasurer for the past 2 years. Living in a small town, my daughter and I volunteer at as many functions as we can. I think it is important to show her that giving back is a gift, not only for the people we give to, but to ourselves as well.
