For almost 23 years, Chrissy Caplet has been helping customers, in both her past role in Retail Banking and in her current Security role. She’s a committed community volunteer, an avid supporter of her daughter’s soccer team, and always happy to travel and have new adventures with her family. Learn more about Chrissy!

1. What is your current role and department?
I am the Operations and Security Manager so I oversee all that occurs in the Deposit Operations and Security Departments.

2. What do you love most about working at Chelsea Groton Bank?

Our commitment to helping customers is what I love most. I’ve been working for Chelsea Groton for almost 23 years and have spent most of my career in Retail Banking. I have loved every opportunity that I’ve had working with my customers and understanding their needs. That’s become especially important now in my Security role – helping customers who may be involved in a scam or other concerning situations.

3. What are you most proud of in your work at Chelsea?

My team members make me really proud! Each one of my co-workers genuinely cares about the jobs that we do and how we can help our customers.

4. Tell us a little bit about your life outside of work.

Our daughter is a senior at Lyman Memorial High School, so my husband and I are soaking up all opportunities to watch her succeed in her last year of school and see where life takes her.  She’s an avid soccer player, so you’ll see us on the sidelines. I’ve enjoyed backyard beekeeping the last few years and love the honey harvesting and profitable vegetable garden that comes with pollinators. My family loves to travel and stay busy. We enjoy new adventures and making memories!

5. What are some things you like to do to support the community?

I’m the President of Montville Youth Soccer Club. I work with my board to build a competitive soccer program for the players of Montville and help promote a strong feeder program to the High School. I’m also the Treasurer and Asst. District Registrar for Connecticut Junior Soccer Association. I also like volunteering for groups that support my daughter, like the Lyman Booster Club and Lyman Project Grad.
