Chelsea Groton Bank recently signed a contract with LAZ Parking to manage the two parking lots located at their downtown Mystic location to improve the parking and overall experience for customers.
“Mystic is a major tourist destination, home to the Mystic Aquarium, the Mystic Seaport and amazing places to explore, dine and shop”, said Lori Dufficy, EVP, Chief Experience & Engagement Officer at Chelsea Groton Bank. “And how fortunate we are to be able to have a historic branch building situated in the heart of this quintessential town, bustling with tourists and members of our local community throughout the year.”
LAZ Parking will manage the two parking lots beginning in May ensuring Bank customers will have ample complimentary parking while conducting their bank business. When the bank is closed, patrons of downtown Mystic businesses will be able to park in the bank owned lots using the LAZ Text-to-Park technology, a quick, convenient cashless parking system using text messaging. “As a leader, we are committed to doing our part to help our communities thrive, said Lori Dufficy, which is why we’re inviting downtown Mystic visitors to use our lots after hours and by donating profits from parking fees to the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce to be used in a collaborative way with the Mystic Downtown Merchants Association for events and initiatives”.
