Chelsea Groton Bank and Three Rivers Community College present the first annual financial fitness week from April 30th to May 4th. The educational series is free of charge and open to the public.
The week-long series will feature interactive sessions on investing, understanding credit scores, eating healthy on a budget, maintaining good credit, first time home buying, and tips on buying a vehicle.
Chelsea Groton's Community Education Officer, Pam Days-Luketich, said, "The Bank is excited to work with Three Rivers Community College on this community educational event. The timing couldn't be better as many individuals are having a difficult time managing money and understanding what services and programs are available to them." Luketich went on to say that Chelsea Groton Bank employees consistently invest their time and expertise in their communities; employees donated nearly 9000 hours in 2011.
