Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources Anne Wilkinson announced today that three bank employees received certificates of completion for the two year Connecticut School of Finance & Management (CSFM) program at a ceremony held on March 28th at the Trumbull Marriott. Wilkinson remarked, "To have three employees represented at the ceremony out of a class of 51 with two graduating top of their class is a huge accomplishment. This program has the full support of our CEO, Michael Rauh who attended the graduation ceremony." Wilkinson went on to say that all three graduates were happy to complete the two-year rigorous program and unanimously agreed that the program was one of the best they've ever participated in. Forty-four Chelsea Groton Bank employees have graduated from the program to date with two more employees slated to graduate in 2013.
Branch Manager Melinda Burridge, Deposit Services Assistant Manager Margaret McMahon, and Senior Marketing Officer Meghan Horan started the program together in 2010 with the goal of gaining a broader perspective on the banking industry. The program provides employees of Connecticut's banking industry an opportunity to gain knowledge and awareness of banking theory, practices and procedures, capital markets and management functions which will be of substantial value in their preparation for new and greater responsibilities. Both Burridge and Horan graduated the program with honors.
